AMA Session Recap: Creator x AltcoinBuzz
Creator conducted one of the most interesting AMA with Altcoin Buzz community on Sept 21. The session has the participation of Mr Tony Tran, our CEO and Mr Shitij Gupta, Altcoin Buzz’s CFO. Both speakers had a full and frank discussion and pointed out the most important topics around Creator. Let’s go into details in this recap.

So tell us about yourself, Tony. What’s your background and how did you come up with the idea of Creator?

Well, My name is Tony Tran- the CEO and Co-Founder of Creator
I have started my career and worked in the IT industry for a course of 15 years, in which almost 10 years specializing in Blockchain, IoT, and AI.
I have a huge passion for experiencing the latest technologies, so I never miss out on any technological changes, such as front-end and back-end apps, programming languages, and the current market trend of crypto and blockchain.
I believe with my knowledge and experience, Creator will be a rising star in the Blockchain Sky and empower the economy.

What is Creator Chain Network and how will it be used?

Creator is a Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform that provides No Code Smart Contract, Low Code DApp and other services to empower the DeFi and NFT world.
Recently, blockchain technology is showing its immense potential and increasingly demonstrated capability. With the mission to make blockchain more accessible to users even without any blockchain skills as well as expand its applications to a wide range of industries, our team decided to implement the project of Creator.
Creator’s blockchain features shall broaden the gate for every game studio and developers to enter the gamified NFT and Blockchain industry. Creator is outstanding for 4 main features: No Code Smart Contract, Low Code DAPP, Loyalty program, and Defi services.

Could you expand on some of these concepts
No code smart contract
Low Code DAPP
What do these terms mean? How does a smart contract or a DAPP work otherwise?
Tony Tran
No code smart contract is a service that allows any user without blockchain skills to create and deploy Smart Contract just by entering some parameters in the web form.
No code smart contract is focused on end user.
and Low code Dapp will focus on IT companies, or group of users, and they can do some coding for the UI then they can use our provide APIs to build their own DApp

Why did you decide to build on Substrate?
Tony Tran
Yeah, a lot of people asked me this question.
As you might know, Substrate could give the best support for blockchain projects to reduce the need for forces to get involved and avoid wasting resources while producing the highest level of proficiency for the overall system.
Substrate allows us to build blockchain with widely used and tested technologies. Substrate supports multiple smart contract platforms, including the EVM. Substrate uses Wasm, which means that we can develop smart contracts using any compatible language.
As the framework is modular, it gives us enough technological freedom and also Substrate is natively compatible with Polkadot.

So going back a little bit to the no and low code setup — can you give a used case of how a person with minimal tech background can use it efficiently?

For example, a user is a painter
He want to distribute his product as a NFT product
They can use our no code smart contract to start generating his own Token(if he want)
Set the token Symbol and utility of that on the form, then deploy it.
next step is generate NFT on same No code smart contract service, set the price, upload picture, then other user can start trading that painting on NFT marketplace

Tell us about the major utilities of holding the #Creator native token (CRT)? How does the team plan to enhance its further value to attract more users?
Tony Tran

To begin with, the CTR token can be used to pay fees for the BaaS infrastructure as well as any transactions on the Creator platform.
At the same time, holders can use CTR to purchase NFT of creative items on the marketplace, which can be exchanged for loyalty points, vouchers, gifts, or parachain rewards.
You may also use the DeFi protocol to switch from any other token. Holders can raise their membership status and reap additional benefits from the ecosystem.
CTR is interoperable with other chains such as Ethereum, Polkadot and Binance. Creator commits to offer you an optimized cost, full fit service and shorten go-live time.

Where can one use it and what are all features users get access to?

Currently we have finished our testnet and we are going to release a new add-on on our platform which is Staking at the end of the Q4.

For the feature, we just finished the beta version.

What are some of the competitors you’ve identified and how is creator different?

Unlike to the other platforms such as OpenSea, XP.net which are more about NFT oriented solutions and products, Creator providers operate a managed blockchain platform, supplying all of the infrastructures and often many of the tools needed to build full-fledged decentralized applications (DApps) for different types of users: individuals, merchants, or developers.

Since I am interested also in BACONDAO project, your partnership announcement with BaconDao took my attention. Can you please tell why did you choose to work together with BaconDao and how will they contribute to Creator?
Q2-
Many projects implement a system of reducing inflation and reducing prices. So do you have a burning system or plan to integrate something like that? Or did you implement another strategy to ensure the price of the $CTR token?
Q3-
What is you revenue model? In which ways do you generate revenue/profit?So many projects just like to speak about the “long term vision and mission” but what are your short terms objectives? What are you focusing right now?

Developers are the heart and soul of a great project,
Is there any hackathon or bounty programs announced?

Great questions! Let me go through one by one
Q1- Yeah, BaconDao is our early investor and close friend. They helped to promote projects via Videos, Reviews, etc.
We will have more activities in the next roadmap of Creator.
Q2-
Well, Token designs to guarantee the stable development of Creator project and also raise the benefit of buyers/investors.
At the moment, we do not have any plan to burn our token. That’s not the way to increase the value of tokens. It’s an unsustainable way to keep our holders with us.
We’d rather develop and upgrade our products and create an ecosystem to build a sustainable environment for all users and our partners.
First shoot will be staking which is soon released at the end of Q3/2
Q3- You are right. Every project has its own business model. Sometimes, because of some reasons they can’t go til the end with it.
BUT Creator is really different since we are backed by VMO group with more than 800 developers and expert blockchain teams of 20 engineers. Besides that, we are actually working on Launchpad, Marketplace, Staking services all together and plan to release within November, 2021. Not too long of a wait.
In addition, we are also incubating a NFT Game project which is our first use case and will be released by this October.
Our Vision is to contribute to the community, not just funding!
Q4 — So happy to hear that many developers are interested in our project.
As of now, we do not have any Bug Bounty Program yet. In the near future, we’re planning to do a Hackathon, where all developers are welcomed. Keep updated Creator official channel for the latest information.
At the moment, we will have CTR Tokens Bonus for people who report vulnerable codes or contribute to the development of our project.

You are right. Our top most priority is security.
All our smart contracts are fully audited by Certik.

“Partnership is always an important factor for every project. So who is your partner? What are the benefits you get from those relationships?”
That’s so true! Partnership is extremely important when it comes to sustaining and developing a project comprehensively in all kinds of aspects as well as to expand our skillsets, resources and offerings.
Currently, Creator has established strategic partnerships and received giant support from Master Ventures, Magnus Capital, Kardia Ventures, Exnetwork Capital, X21, Oddiyana Ventures, DarkPool Liquidity, and a few angel investors.
We also have some new partnerships with big names in the industry which will soon be revealed to you guys in following days. Just stay tuned guys!!

“Do Token holders have right to participate in the governance of the project? On what kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?”
Well! Let’s take a look at our business model which we just have revealed recently!
The Governance Vault takes an important place in the whole Creator ecosystem. By staking CTR into the Governance Vault of Creator, CTR holders can vote on significant improvements of Creator Chain Network and earn CTR rewards in the return.
